 once again...the obstroller turns AWOS off and attempts manual obs...promptly putting the program in the toilet. note the "dew point" at 1750Z...this caused a heat index of 130F.

 another example of the junk known as AWOS...actual conditions were CAVU
I really feel sorry for these small airports that were suckered into buying these worthless machines.

 another thing the towers with ASOS responsibility do is differentiate between twr and sfc vis. if the tower is the usual point of observatuion then they are the surface and you should not see a twr vis or sfc vis remark.

 And...once again our weather wizards in the tucson tower allow HZ to be transmitted at 2115Z instead of entering the ACTUAL weather BLDU or maybe BLSA. I'm no pilot...but I would think BLDU or BLSA being ingested into an aircraft engine would not be a good thing?
